And here is :iconpoetic-dragon:'s Spirit Dragon, George. Okay, well, his name isn't actually George ... or it could be ... I don't know. I never did ask Poe about his name. I only knew that it had to be green & something like a Chinese dragon. For all I know 'he' could be a 'Georgette.'

Anyway, I'm much happier with this now that the figures background & foreground have fallen into place. I even got the moon Poe wanted in there.

The jewelry in the piece is all based on ones created by Ms. Poetic Dragon ... and she's having a contest btw.

"And how shall we be able to forget those ancient myths that are at the beginning of all peoples. The myths about dragons that at the last moment turn into princesses. Perhaps all the dragons of our lives are just Princesses who are only waiting to see us once beautiful and brave."

Enough of me rambling... uhm, Zoom?

May 30th: Poe says his name is Gwydyon. Plus the pic has been cropped a bit & the dragon's ears fixed to address Philly & Sadist's comments.

EDIT: July 15th: Re-worked the face and parts of the dragon.

Bravo! Tis beautiful :D I like how George goes from translucent to solid and his wings are particularly well done, looks like they took some time to do. One thing, which is an easy fix, though is George's horn on the left should be smaller then the one closest to the woman due to the angle of his face and perspective. Other then that it looks fantastic.

oh, that's supposed to be of a REAL PERSON.
i should read descriptions when i'm more awake.

anyway, the past where the hem of her dress starts and things are fading bugs me. you could crop it off and it's still look good. it might balance better with the tight top crop, too.

over all, very nice. i like her dress ;)

Yep, that's Poe & she chose that dress. And her hair is now more brown/gold - less green. Hmmm, I'll think about cropping it. I just don't want to loose where the draggie is fading.... maybe more clouds....

Didn't the wings turn out cool? I'm pretty fond of them.... & the jewelry. I'll cut down on the far ear a bit more (yeah, I kept debating ear or horn, ear or horn... then got what you see).
